Evan Baker  Director

Evan Barker - Director

Yo I'm Evan and I'm the director of 'Burnt Fingers'. I'm currently studying Acting, going into my second year at East 15 Acting School. I have recently returned from performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 'Mojo' by Jez Butterworth. In 2018 I wrote and directed my first play 'The State of It' in the Volcano Theatre in Swansea. This is a great, unique play that shows off its multi-talented cast. I'm very excited and happy to be working on this project with my friends for YouthQuake’s second show, raising money and awareness for Endometriosis.

Jaimee Rae  Artist / Creator of EndoWall / EndoWallks

Jaimee was diagnosed with Endometriosis in 2015. Despite dealing with this chronic illness she has made it her mission to raise awareness of the condition to help others. Endometriosis affects 1 in every 10 women and at present there is no cure. She has created mural/graffiti type artworks around Cardiff (the first on the side of her own house in Tewkesbury Street, Cathays) and has raised awareness via an on line network, both locally and worldwide, to support others who suffer. Her artwork has caught the attention of the BBC and ITV and she has shared her story on the radio several times. All profits raised from YouthQuake performances have been donated to assist Jaimee in achieving these goals. She is currently taking part in London Fashion Week having created a unique and quirky up-cycled collection reflecting Endometriosis. Other Cardiff EndoWalls can be found in 'Sunflower and I' at 1 Mount Stuart Square, Docks, and 'Cafe Go' in Tudor Street.

Check out her instagram and show your support.
